| What
is a plug-in? |
A
plug-in is an application that is accessed from within the AllFusion
Gen toolset. Because the application has been launched from the toolset,
it is able to directly access and update the model and hence provide
more functions than an application that is launched outside of the
toolset. |

| What

The

| The
plug-ins do not work from the Gen menu |
Make
sure that you have started the toolset with the /Automation parameter,
i.e. toolset.exe /Automation for Gen 7 and coolgen.exe /Automation
for Gen 6.5 |
| The
console does not load when invoked from the Plug-in |
One
possible cause is that the Gen runtime file wru650n.dll is not correctly
registered. If you did not have the gen runtimes registered on your
workstation, the Console Setup program will have registered wru650n.dll
from the GenRtm directory. Either re-register your copy of the Gen
runtime or register the GenRtm\wru650n.dll using regsvr32.exe. |
