The Solutions Console is displayed when you launch it from the Gen plug-in menu.

The console uses a tree view containing the following sections:

• My Favorites - the installed plug-ins that you have promoted to this section.
• Installed Plug-ins - plug-ins that have been installed into the Solutions Console
• Announcements - announcements from the vendors
• Other Solutions - other plug-ins available from the vendors

You can quickly launch a plug-in by double-clicking on the plug-in in either the My Favorites or Installed Plug-ins section.

The console contains a Live Update feature that will refresh the list of available plug-ins and announcements. This ensures that the console is always up to date. Live Update can be configured to execute automatically or on demand by pressing the Live Update button on the toolbar.

If you have installed plug-ins into the Gen menu, these can be imported to the Installed Plug-ins section using the Import button. Plug-ins installed into the console can also be exported to the Gen Plug-in menu using the Export button.
